Vhagar – Vhagar is the largest living dragon during this time period. She was first ridden by Leana Velaryon (daughter of Rheanys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon), and then later Aemond Targaryen (second-born son to Viserys Targaryen and Alicent Hightower) tamed her and occupied her during The Dance. Vhagar is a she-dragon who is “bronze with greenish-blue highlights and bright green eyes.” Tyrion Lannister said Vhagar was “large enough to ride a horse down her gullet.” She is also an experienced fighter, with more than a hundred battles under her belt. She is the only dragon still alive to have seen Valyria, making her the last living entity to have witnessed the mysterious Valyria. Vhagar was named after a Valyrian goddess. Vhagar was born in 52 BC at Dragonstone, making her 181 years old at the start of the Dance.
